Passports and Visas: Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether any visas or passports are required. Passports are required to be valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel. American and Canadian citizens can obtain the visa to enter Egypt up on arrival to Cairo airport. Any other nationality should check with the Egyptian consular office for their entry requirements.
Domestic Air within Egypt: All reservation will be confirmed 24 hours prior to the domestic flight scheduled time, as per Egypt Air availability, Egypt wholesale can not guarantee and specific domestic flights until it is paid in full and ticketed.
Hotel & Nile Cruise Accommodations: All rooms/cabins are standard twin-bedded with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the property’s management on a run-of-house basis. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person. Certain Hotels and/or Nile Cruises do not accommodate triple. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. Most hotels/Nile Cruises reserve the right to make substitutions with alternatives of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations.
Meals: As specified in each itinerary. Meals are based on the hotel’s or restaurant’s buffet or set menu. In general, beverages are not included, unless specifically stated.
Optional Sightseeing Tours: Any additional sightseeing clients decided to purchase during the tour, will be based on Egypt Wholesale Rack rate which is at least 20% more than the rate we provided to you (the tour operator) in our site. Revenue of such a sale will be for Egypt Wholesale and will not be reported to the tour operator.
Ship & Itinerary Changes: Cruise itineraries and ships are subject to change without notice. Furthermore, cruise ships may be chartered and/or departure dates canceled, in which case an alternative ship will be provided, and an email note will be send to the tour operator. Egypt Wholesale takes no responsibility for ship substitutions or itinerary changes imposed by a cruise line and is not responsible for any losses you may incur including the issuance and/or cancellation of airline tickets or visa fees. Voluntary cancellations due to political instability, acts of terrorism, government intervention or US State Department warning will be subject to the above fees, provided the program is deemed (by Egypt Wholesale) able to continue. Should Egypt Wholesale elect to cancel a departure for any of these reasons, every effort will be made to obtain refunds from suppliers, however no guarantees can be provided on their behalf.
Water Level: River water levels may cause part or the entire cruise itinerary to be operated by motor coach. If this becomes necessary, Egypt Wholesale will endeavor to provide equal or similar services, however no monetary compensation will be made for those changes. Neither Egypt Wholesale nor the owners or operators of the vessels shall be liable for delay or inability to perform any condition caused by or arising from strikes, lockout, civil or labor issues, explosion, fire, collision, vessel breakdown or damage to the vessel, its hull, machinery or fittings. Neither shall they be responsible for issues caused by or arising from civil commotion, riot, insurrection, war, government restraint, requisitioning of the vessel, political disturbance, acts or threats of terrorism, inability to secure or failure of supplies including fuel, Acts of God, or other circumstances beyond their control.
Form of Payment: Company check, Bank check or wire transfer. All payments made within 35 days of departure must be in the form of a certified check, money order, or wire transfer. Payments made by wire transfer must include an additional $35 wire transfer fee. There is a $30 fee for returned checks.
Cancellation: Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing. Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure.
- 45 to 21 days prior to departure: $100 Per person + any non-refundable hotel, Nile Cruise and/or Domestic air cost.
- 20 days or less prior to departure: No Refund.
Medical Services: Many ships do not carry a doctor or nurse onboard. Should medical attention be required, local services will be contacted. Resulting charges will be the responsibility of the passenger. Egypt Wholesale and the cruise ship operator are not responsible for the services provided.
E. DOCUMENTS: Provided that full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date (typically 45 days prior to arrival) Voucher Summary will be sent 21 days prior to arrival via email on the tour operator letter head (if the letter head is provided).
Luggage: Each passenger is allowed 2 piece of luggage + 1 carry on.
Suggested Tipping: Tipping is personal preferences; the following is just a guide line for your convenience

3) Nile Cruise $03.00 per person per day
4) Felucca driver $01.00 per person per ride
5) Tour Manager (Leader) $05.00 per person per day
6) Egyptologist $05.00 per person per day

8) Porterage at hotels $01.00 per bag
9) We suggest paying $10 per night per person upfront up on your arrival, so your client does not have to worry about tipping issue every day. This amount excludes the English Speaking Egyptology but includes your Nile Cruise tips, tour managers, Hours Carriage and Felucca ride and all drivers.
Hotel & Cruise Profiles: hotel and cruise ship profiles are based upon information provided to us by hotel and cruise ship sales department or via their website, including images and descriptions of individual properties. Star-ratings may differ from country to country. Egypt Wholesale does its best to maintain current information, however is not responsible for any inaccuracies, changes in description details or amenities, or images provided by third parties.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: All customer service issues must be submitted in writing and received no later than 30 days following your return. There will be no refunds for unused package tour services or features, including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or missed flights, unused meals, missed sightseeing tours, unused entrance fees, and accommodations. Airline flight cancellations and delays for any reason are not the responsibility of Egypt Wholesale. Submit your claim directly to the airline. Egypt Wholesale’s terms may not be changed by anyone other than an authorized representative of Egypt Wholesale and must be documented in writing. Egypt Wholesale is not obliged to guarantee promises (written or verbal) made by local hotel staff, tour guides, or any other persons not under direct employ of Egypt Wholesale.
RESPONSIBILITY: Egypt Wholesale and its representatives abroad act only as independent contractors acting on behalf of neither the customer nor the suppliers and principals. All exchange orders, coupons, and tickets, whether paper or electronic, are issued subject to the terms and conditions under which such means of transportation, accommodations, and other services are offered or provided. The issuance and acceptance of such documents shall be deemed to be consent to the further conditions. Egypt Wholesale does not own nor operate the hotels, motor coaches, airlines, cruise lines, or any other service providers which compose their tours, and will not be held responsible for changes and/or cancellations for any reason by airlines, hotels or cruise ships.
The Travel Agent and/or Tour Operator, Egypt Wholesale, shall not be in any way liable for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity in any vehicle, or through the act of default of any company, or person engaged in conveying passengers, or of any hotel proprietor, personnel, servant or any other person otherwise in connection therewith. Egypt Wholesale shall not be held responsible for potential risks and hazards associated with travel to destinations included in this website, where injury, delay, or unanticipated events may occur. Egypt Wholesale shall not assume responsibility for standards of quality, hygiene, political stability, cuisine, sanitation facilities, cleanliness, telecommunications facilities, methods of conducting business, emergency medical evacuation, treatment, or medical services found in Egypt. It is the responsibility of the passenger(s) to check with the U.S. State Department, Consular information http://travel.state.gov/travel/warnings.html for any current advisories and updates to the destinations on their itinerary. Egypt Wholesale shall be held harmless from any and all liability in connection with the foregoing. Egypt Wholesale cannot accept responsibility for loss or expense due to delay or changes in transportation schedule or other causes. Egypt Wholesale shall not be held responsible for potential loss of services due to inclement weather conditions.
Arbitration: Any and all disputes concerning this contract or web site, or your trip shall be resolved solely and exclusively by binding arbitration according to the then current rules of the American Arbitration Association in New Jersey, and any such arbitration must take place in Bergen County, New Jersey. In any such arbitration, the substantive law of New Jersey will apply.
Agreement between Customer and Egypt Wholesale: www.egyptwholesale.com is offered to you, the customer, conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein.
